SATURDAY GROUP CLASSES
FOUNDATIONS SERIES
Our Foundations Series curriculum emphasizes solid fundamentals as skaters navigate through the “World of Figure Skating” starting with a HOP, then learning to FLY, and soon taking off to SOAR! Skaters collect stamps in their Skate VIDA: Passport as they progress through skills and explore new regions of the skating world. They can also strive to earn a First Class Ticket by mastering bonus skills at each level along their journey. Click on the passport below to learn more about the skill expectations for each level of the Foundations Series: HOP, FLY, and SOAR.

ADULT & TEEN SERIES
At Skate VIDA we train skaters of all ages and skaters are always welcome to join ANY class that is level-appropriate, regardless of age. However, we also recognize that all ages do not necessarily learn the same way or along the same trajectory. That is why we offer a special Adult & Teen Series. Classes in this series are grouped by age and skill-level to provide a supportive community for our skaters. Skaters will learn all the same fundamental skills taught in our Foundations curriculum and then branch out to explore other Specialty Classes.

SPECIALTY series
Our Specialty Series classes vary weekly to provide skaters with both a depth and breadth of training. Skaters benefit from classes across disciplines and content areas in order to leverage each of our coaches’ areas of expertise. Skaters are welcome to join any class for which they meet the pre-requisite skills; simply ask a coach if you are unsure the requirements for a specific class. Group assignments are determined by competitive level, USFS tests passed, and coach evaluations.
